Toys for Tots toy drive now thru Dec 11th.
I am sure you have seen all the Toys for Tots signs and drop off locations around town. JJ, Dennis and Greg have been working very hard to make this year's drive another success. The last day to donate a toy is Dec 11th.
Here are Greg and JJ with one of the toys donated and what a gracious donation.
New Location
Good news, Toys for Tots has acquired a space for this year's (2022) Toys for Tots toy storage and distribution. Location: 139 Cumberland Plaza Unit O, on the corner of Genesis Rd and Main Street.
TOYS FOR TOTS CAMPAIGN INFORMATION
Toys For Tots Campaign Cumberland County, Tennessee Toys For Tots, has been a national charitable program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve for 74 years. It provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each Christmas holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence, and a positive memory for a lifetime. We believe that such experiences help disadvantaged children become responsible citizens and caring members of their community. The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity, is the fundraising, funding, and support organization for the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The foundation was created at the behest of the United States Marine Corps and provides support in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, who directs the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The foundation and its partnership with the Marine Corps League has supported Toys for Tots since 1991 and supplemented local campaigns with tens of millions of toys valued at over one billion dollars. As we implement this program in Crossville and surrounding Cumberland County communities, one important thing to remember is that we are local people helping local families. In the upcoming Christmas seasons it will be our mission, as part of the Marine Corps League, to support the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. For more information, click on the link below.

The shoppers are Dennis, his wife Margie and Greg. They shop to fill in the gaps in age brackets that we do not have enough toys for. This usually is for older children 13 -17 years.

In the banner picture is Dennis, JJ, Greg, the donation came from the Upper Cumberland Chapter of MOAA. The man in uniform is Cpt Locke Kelly and the check was presented by Cpt Scott Jacobsen the donation was $1210.00
